Systems Analyst - 200

A Programmer is mainly responsible for writing code, testing software, and providing support to clients and software services offered by Info Tech. In addition, the Programmer will aid in the support of the systems used in house by the Systems Development department.
Minimum qualifications: Familiarity with computers and programming languages, demonstrated analytical ability and working toward a degree in a computer related field.
Preferred qualification: AA degree in a computer related field or Mathematics; demonstrated analytical ability; some hands on programming experience; experience with RDBMS and client/server architectures.

Senior Project Administrator - 213
Assists Program and/or Project Managers in planning, managing the processes and systems
that will help monitor the day-to-day activities of a project(s), and setting up and delivering
the project objectives to the project sponsors. In addition, coordinates small projects or
sub-projects by leading small teams and maintaining responsibility for the corresponding
activities and deliverables with minimum supervision. Actively participates in the four
phases of the project release life cycle: Planning, Development, Testing, and Delivery. The
Sr. Project Administrator mentors Project Administrators in more involved tasks.
BS in Computer Science, DIS, Finance or closely related field with specialization in computers and 3 years of experience as a lead system analyst or technical team lead, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with supporting project life cycle and software development life cycle for large projects required. Must have experience in coordination of deliverables to customers.A graduate degree in the aforementioned areas OR 5 years of experience in software development methodologies and project management is preferred.

A Systems Analyst in the Services Department is primarily responsible for level 2
support, testing, and implementation activities for Trnsport and ITI products.
Position is in Nashville, Tennessee, for a minimum of one year.
Successful applicant must be self-motivated and able to work in close proximity to others with minimal supervision.
The position entails juggling multiple priorities while working at the direction of various project team members. You will contribute business and technical analysis, design, and development expertise to the Tennessee Department of Transportation in their use of AASHTO Trns?port products and Info Tech offerings. Tasks could include programming, database scripting and support, business process analysis and design, documentation management, software troubleshooting and customer support, and more.
BA/BS degree and 2 years experience in software engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in all aspects of software development. PowerBuilder experience a plus. Must have minimum of one year experience with each of the following:
- Microsoft .NET programming environment
- Crystal Reports or similar report creation tool
- Oracle SQL (or SQLPlus or similar SQL experience)

The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for leading the Development Project Management
team. He/she manages and mentors a team of Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers and
Project Assistants. This position is responsible for effective management, quality, and control of all the Development projects. This position focuses on establishing and enforcing standard
methodologies and tools for effective project management, reporting, and quality
deliverables. Different types of software development projects need to be supported as
part of the overall portfolio. These include: Research and Development, New Application Development, Enhancements, Maintenance, and strategic internal projects for software process engineering or marketing. This involves the coordination of communication between technical resources and the other project stakeholders.
The responsibilities include the development and maintenance of the process to develop project plans, status assessment reports, project communication plans, project metrics, risk management plan and the problem resolution plans.
The Senior Program Manager in Development is experienced in directing and successfully managing highly complex software development projects. Must effectively work with executive management, senior managers, product and technical managers and leading diverse project teams of 20+ technical professionals from multiple departments. The Sr. wT Program Manager is a member of the Development Leadership team and is responsible for working closely with this team on long-term strategy and annual operation plans. This position will work closely with the PMO, Development Resource Manager, Development Sr. Architect and the Product Managers to implement processes and tools. The Sr. Program Manager must be proficient with software engineering methodologies and best practices. This position participates in the improvement and implementation of Project Management and Software Development Methodologies. The Sr. Program Manager will utilize the standards and policies of the Project Management Office.
This position requires a minimum of 7 plus years of Information Technology and Project Management experience, with at least 3 years managing software development projects of significant business and/or technical complexity. Other qualifications include a PMP certification, BS in Computer Science or related technical field. Advance degrees in Management, Computer Science,
Systems Engineering or related technical fields are preferred. Proven record of successful project management. Seasoned Project Manager with
previous experience in managing dynamic projects and cross-functional teams. Experience recruiting and managing project and software technology teams. Effective negotiator with customers and company leaders. Must have formal training or extensive experience with software development
methodologies. Must have experience with Project Management tools. (e.g. MS Project,
Primavera, ABT Workbench), MS Office, MS Access.
Strong organizational and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
